Pre - Press

Computer to Plate

Dannipon Screen CtP (Computer to Plate) for best quality printing.

We have installed Eskographics, the most advanced software available globally specially meant for packaging print file processing. Artois CAD for structural design, Des pack for file finishing, Color tone for colour retouching, Flex Proof for hard copy of proof, Flex Rip for quality control are all part of this packaging software.

Also all the latest versions of software related to handling of packaging jobs are installed.

Sampling Table

We have Esko's Konsberg sampling table which is an automated die-less cutting/creasing table that accelerates sample making through direct inputs from the CAD diagram. With the help of the Konsberg table, a first sample can be made and modifications can be performed on the die-line prior to being sent for die-making.

Press

  • Mitsubishi Diamond 1000, 20 x 28 inches, six-colour UV press with online coater

This is one-of-its-kind printer capable of printing on a range of substrates from regular boards to plastic (PVC) and metallic boards using eco-friendly UV curing inks. On-line coating of UV, water based varnish and special effects are possible on this machine.

Finishing

Lamination - Gloss / Matt - Full and Strip

28 x 40 inches, fully automatic water base laminator. The machine is equipped with pre-dust cleaning devices, calendaring (to smoothen surface of the board) and special auto sheeter for separating laminated sheets of high-density films. The machine has the capability to laminate films such as BOPP, PET, METPET of thickness ranging from 10 microns to 80 microns. The final laminated sheet is ready for the next operation without any waiting time.

UV Varnish - Full and Spot

28 x 40 inches, automatic coating machine is the high speed auto coater that can perform both spot and full varnishes comprising UV and water based varnishes on regular paper board as well as special surfaces.

Hot foil stamping

Heidelberg converted 22 x 32 inches is used for hot foil stamping.

Die - Cutting

BOBST SPECIA 106, 29 x 41 inches with stripping. This machine can process up to 7700 sheets per hour. This versatile machine enables fast make-readies using centre-line feature for accurate positioning which leads to precision cutting according to cut-marks. The plate system for this technology enables archiving of files for quick reprinting. At the time of repeat jobs, a job can be changed over, started and executed at faster speeds as the original plate is preserved for reprinting. This technology allows for fast executing of high volume jobs.

Folding and Gluing

BOBST Ambition 76 for fast, accurate folding and bubble-free gluing.

Auto Laminator for e-flute packaging

Ultra-sophisticated and one-of-its-kind in this part with versatile printing technology. This machine helps take the printed sheets immediately for the next operation such as folding, creasing, die-cutting, etc. without waiting for drying time. The process is faster as drying time is eliminated as against the conventional system which requires 12 to 24 hours.
